Designing the logo

I started off designing in free form as shown above. However the looks are uneven and less interesting. So, I decided to design the logo using shapes.

The picture above shows my uses of shapes to create logos. Alot of them are trial and error. They are usually created with an original look in mind.

I tried for a background door design, it dint look entirely the best but it was worth trying.

Here are some of the design that would look without the processes shown.

Toilet signs proposal

Introduction
Toilet signs are widely used globally to differentiate the gender of men and women in restrooms. However, the default toilet signs had been used for over 70 years and have yet to show any changes in design.

Problem statement

The original and global toilet sign is created by a design studio founded by Marcus Brumwell and Misha Black in 1943. Since then, the signs have not undergone any changes for more than 70 years. In the current era, the signs are less represented to the current fashion. It is rare to find women wearing a skirt and men are moving away from the gentleman era.

Solution
I propose to change the toilet signs into a more modern contemporary design. There are already designs by designers to try to update the current toilet designs but has not been proven to be a global success. it will be very difficult to move from the current global toilet sign since it was integrated solidly into our minds to know what the signs represent and changes may create confusion.
