What is Contemporary, Design and Contemporary design

What is Contemporary

Contemporary means current, existing or occurring at the same time
present time
same age or date
Basically it means what is happening now

What is Design

Design is a creation of plan that does not include a production or engineering process. Designs  requires a lot of problem solving and creativity skills. Sometimes a construction of an object can be considered design. Design requires alot of reseach, modelling, and adjustments as well as
re-designing.

Design process

Define the problem
Find the problem before finding the solution

Collect information
Once the problem is found, we take the time in gathering information by taking photographs, interviewing and sketching.

Brainstorm and analyze
In this phase, we start sketching to help understand how the information and data impacts on the design.

Develop Solution
In this stage, we create specific drawings and solutions to each problems to show to the client.

Feedback
The solutions that was suggested was never final. It is crucial to receive feedback from the client.

Improve
With the feedback, we can continue to revise and improve a final solution. It is required that alot of time will be taken in redesigning the design according to the client

What is contemporary design

Contemporary design refers to what is popular now. Contemporary design is heavily influenced by modern design but the two are totally different. Contemporary design can be very eclectic because it is always changing and borrows pieces and styles from different eras.
